9600 fax-modem board, and an Audio Pro Spectrum 16 sound board.)
The Audio Pro Spectrum 16 only works well with two different DMA settings,
but at least it allows you to set them.
I can't seem to get all of the boards working together. I have tried
QAPLUS and Check-it but both of those seem merely to express the
expected default settings rather than reading the actual DMA addresses of
the existing boards. I have nothing against taking most the boards out
and replacing them one at a time and testing the DMA settings, if I
could find out what they are.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Subject: Drive Problems
Question:
I bought a 486-33 from Standard Computer Corp. at the
beginning of the summer and have problems with the floppy
drives. When running MS-Word for Windos, the system locks up
if I try to acces the A: or b: drive when there is not a disk
present. Oddly, I will get a disk not present (or similar error
message) if I try to acces an empty drive with Norton Desktop
2.0 and the system will not lock up (just hit "Cancel" button on
the dialog box that appears). What could be the source of this
problem, and more importantly, how can I fix it?
Thanks in advance,
T. Charles Yun

*** Himem.sys Error (A7) *** Run Setup and remove XMS and HMA usage.
I ran the setup for the game again and removed XMS and HMA usage. But when i
tried to run my game i got the same message. I think i must do something
with my config.sys and autoexec.bat files but i'm not sure. I also have no
manuals. Can anyone with any knowledge of this problem, or anyone who knows
